Hello world, family, friends!! This is my first blog and I'm really excited about starting it. I've always wondered about the activity that goes on with these things, so I figured I may as well give a shot. Well here goes!
About Me

- Well as I've said in the title this is my first blog, so I'm going to try and be as truthful as possible seeing as that anyone can read this. There are some things that I can mention and some things that I cannot, but the things that I do mention with be nothing but the truth, take it or leave it. I'm an African American woman in my early thirties born in San Francisco to wonderful parents, an accomplished and loving family and two beautiful and inspirational sisters who just happen to be my best friends in the whole world. I can say that I've experienced alot in my life, and there is still more that I will experience. I love music and I love dancing to music. To me music and dance go together like flesh and blood you can't have one without the other. I love to read interesting books that take me away from reality (ha ha) I don't in any way like or understand violence. I love to sing, write poetry, which usually happens when I'm having problems in my relationships. My Mother is my rock, and my family is the world to me. So this is just a taste!

SELFISH
Yes, I sometimes cry for you.
Then I think of what I
wouldn’t have been able to give you,
and the tears subside.
Yes I think of you,
but I was too young and naive to have you,
and at a height of passion, wasn’t thinking.
Yes, I do love you.
However, I love myself and wanted
to build enough love to give you.
Believe, I wanted to give you things,
but I wanted them first to understand.
Yes, I wanted to have a life before I gave
you one.
Yes, I possess love.
Why must I justify?
